This image really kicked my butt! I worked on it for a ridiculous amount of time, reworking the scales on Medusa and the snakes over and over again. I finally got it to a stage where I can think of it as 'finished' and move on to something new.

I went for a sexier version of Medusa than the hideous hag from Greek mythology. Her tight fitted dress is supposed to look like she is shedding snake skin. Instead of the usual serpents for hair I gave her a jade crown of intertwined snakes.
