This is the first PETSCII image I created. It is loosely inspired by a location in the classic text adventure game Colossal Cave Adventure, also known as Adventure and Advent. I have thought about making a series of images based on locations in that game or similar adventure games but so far this is the only one I have completed.

I have fond memories of playing text adventure games on my Amstrad CPC 464 back in the 1980's, some of which had illustrations that mixed procedural drawing with character based art, like The Jewels of Babylon, Forest at the World's End, and Heroes of Karn.
