My delayed Spooktober piece, a busty witch brewing a potion in a huge cauldron. It looks like one of the ingredients is trying to escape!

This is the first image I have completed in Clip Studio and I'm still getting to grips with its interface and toolset. I tried using the naturalistic paints but got frustrated with the way they blend and so reverted to the airbrush. I'll give the other paint tools a go when I have more time.

This is also the first time I tried the approach of quickly blocking in the colours and values on layers beneath the line art and then painting the final piece in layers above it. I picked-up this 'colour sandwich' technique from Twitch streamer Jubilina. It worked well, so I think I'll probably stick with it for future pieces.
